Honor Mission Foundation coordinates the dignified transport of the cremated remains of verified U.S. military veterans and active-duty service members to their families or final resting place through a nationwide network of qualified veteran organizations.
We give families a respectful, veteran-led alternative to shipping cremated remains through commercial delivery services, ensuring no veteran's final journey is reduced to a package shipment.

A Marine's Final Ride Home.
A Marine veteran in East Texas was going to be cremated and mailed to his daughter in Mississippi. Riders from two Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® chapters paid for the cremation themselves, then carried him more than 570 miles to her door.
More than 1,150 miles were traveled. Not for recognition. Not for glory. That mission is the reason this foundation exists.

Honor Mission is a coordinating network. Families, licensed funeral professionals, destination facilities, and qualified volunteers each have a distinct role.
Coordinate
A coordinator confirms permissions, professional handoffs, destinations, timing, and volunteer availability.
Accompany
Qualified volunteers accompany the cremated remains in accordance with the approved mission plan.
Complete the handoff
The journey ends with a respectful, authorized handoff to family or the final resting place.

Honor Mission does not replace veteran service organizations, official military funeral honors, or funeral-home services. We coordinate with qualified people and organizations when a family authorizes a mission.
