A Marine's Final Ride Home

Riders from Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® chapters in East Texas refused to let a Marine be mailed home to his daughter. Two members paid the cremation cost out of pocket, then six riders carried him more than 570 miles from Longview, Texas to Pass Christian, Mississippi. As word spread, the escort grew to more than twenty bikes before reaching Mississippi, where CVMA® Chapter 44-1 joined them for the final leg.

No words can fully describe the appreciation expressed by the family or the honor each rider felt in participating in this mission.
